Thoughts of a Dharma Bum

10 things…

1. I have 14 books left to read or at least skim some of the lesser ones before college starts again on the 16th.
2. I want to leave this town, its beginning to bore me.I wish i lived in New York, I will live there.
3. The last truly great book I read for the first time was Disgrace by Coetzee, the last I reread was Let the Great World Spin by McCann.
4. I’m currently in the process of watching all 60 episodes of the wire for college, im on ep 7.
5. My notes on the wire are becoming meticulous. its worrying.
6. I need to do more work on my thesis, but its not happening anytime soon.
7. I claim to be a runner but havent run consistently in 2 months, this needs to change.
8. My top five films are Deer Hunter, Lost in Translation, Taxi Driver, 500 Days of Summer and Into the Wild.
9. I have tickets to see Noel Gallagher, RCHP and Bruce Springsteen(twice) in the next six months.
10. I hope I dont get to see the last three of those concerts…
